Dr. Rebecca Lake, PhD, MS, RD, LD
Precision Nutrition & Health, LLC is a Des Moines, Iowa–based practice founded by Dr. Rebecca Lake, PhD, MS, RD, LD, a clinical and research dietitian with experience providing personalized nutrition care for both pediatric and adult populations. Dr. Lake earned her PhD in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and her Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Florida. Her interdisciplinary training integrates nutrition science, genetics, pharmacology, toxicology, and biochemistry to better understand the complex factors that influence health, disease, and longevity.
At Precision Nutrition & Health, Dr. Lake takes a root-cause, evidence-based approach to care, developing individualized nutrition strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs, health conditions, and goals. Her expertise includes gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes and metabolic health, cardiovascular disease, oncology nutrition, neurological conditions, healthy aging, women’s health and fertility, weight management, and inborn errors of metabolism and other genetic disorders. She also has specialized interests in nutrigenomics, nutrigenetics, drug–nutrient interactions, and longevity research.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Lake provides nutrition consulting services, conducts research, performs data and statistical analyses, and delivers academic and professional presentations aimed at advancing nutrition science and improving health outcomes. Through Precision Nutrition & Health, she is committed to translating the latest scientific evidence into practical, personalized solutions that empower individuals, families, and organizations to achieve optimal health.
